How to Play Roulette
Roulette is a casino game that is played with a numbered wheel, a little ball and a numbered grid. The numbered grid is referred to as the inside of the table. The inside is made up or 3 groups of 12 numbers 1 to 36 with a single and a double 0 on the top.
On the inside of the Roulette table bets can be made on a single number, 2 numbers a 4 number square or a row of 4 numbers. This is done by either placing a roulette chip on the number, between 2 numbers, between 4 numbers or on the left side of a row of numbers between the inside of the roulette table and the outside of the table.
The outside of the table is where you can bet on the color of the winner, if the number that wins will be an odd or even number and you can also bet on what group of 12 the winner will be in.
The first step in playing Roulette is purchasing special Roulette chips. This can only be done at the Roulette table. These chips have a different color for each player. This is so that if several different players bet on the same roulette numbers and the players and dealer can tell what chips belong to whom.
After this you may place your chips where ever you want. After this the dealer will spin the wheel and the ball in different directions. Then after the wheel starts to slow down the dealer will wave his hands over the table. This means there is no more betting allowed for this round. Then the wheel will slow down and the ball will fall from the groove and will land and stop on a number.
This number is the winner. The dealer will then place a marker on the winning number and remove all the losing chips. Then the Roulette dealer will then pay off all the winners. Until all winners are paid you may not place bets or remove your winnings.
After all the winnings are made and removed from the table the dealer will then allow new bets.
