If the shooter is in the middle of a hot streak this would be the time to step up the come bets; however, make sure to hedge your bets.
The come bets with a hedge will rescue you from the losses you will meet up with because of rolling a 7 in craps. When you are making a come bet there is a high risk that you can lose your bets to 7. This is particularly true in situations when you will be playing with a tiny bankroll where if you roll a 7 before the come bet you have placed for in the come box shows up.
For instance, in games where there is no bet in the come box and you have 2 or more come bets placed and a 7 rolls before it then you loose all too!
It is important that you play such games with a hedge to reduce the risk level. To do this you will be hedging your come bet with the don’t pass line bet for instance with 4 units and after the point roll you will be playing it with 2 units for the come bet. This way you will win somehow and will not loose anything.
When you are playing with the hedge methods, though your profits are likely to be less you will be losing in one but winning in the other, thereby the win evens up the loss. You got to be careful to not add any odds to bets that will pay sufficiently to balance your hedge plans.
A proper understanding of the kind of odds you are adding to your bets will help you to make a properly hedged betting play in craps. A bit of experience helps.
